Privacy & Cookie policy

This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation 679/2016 (EU) (“GDPR”) to those who access and browse the website www.trackyfood.com (the “Website”) and use the “Tracky Food” platform (“Platform”).

This policy describes the purposes and methods of processing the personal data of users who use the owner’s online channels as defined below. It should also be noted that websites and applications to which you may be redirected from the Website or the Platform are considered excluded from this information.

1. WHO IS THE DATA CONTROLLER?

Trackysat S.r.l. is the owner of the processing of your personal data (“Trackysat” or the “Owner”).

2. WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA? WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES OF THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA?

“Personal Data” means information suitable for identifying, directly or indirectly, a natural person, in this case, You who are browsing the Website or using the Platform (the “Data”). In particular, Trackysat processes the following data: your name and surname; your contact details (i.e. telephone and e-mail address); the IP, the domain name, the URL used; browser type; browsing data; browsing history; the geographical coordinates of the mobile device; the data you voluntarily provided in this context to take advantage of our services and purchase our products; information relating to the operating system and the IT environment you use. Trackysat collects your data directly in order to satisfy the requests made by you, in particular to allow you to access the so-called reserved areas and manage the services covered by the contract you have entered into. The IP address is used exclusively for security purposes and is not crossed with any other data. The provision of your data is absolutely voluntary, however, in case of refusal to provide the same, Trackysat will not be able to satisfy your requests. In any case, we are committed to ensuring that the information collected and used is appropriate with respect to the purposes described and that this does not lead to an invasion of your personal sphere. Furthermore, your data may be acquired, by the owner, even indirectly, also through cookies and similar technologies. Suppliers have access only to personal data that are necessary to perform their duties, and undertake not to use the data for other purposes, and are required to process personal data in accordance with current regulations. The data are collected both automatically and voluntarily. Finally, your data may also be collected and processed for the purpose of carrying out any activity concerning the management and administration of the website and apps.

3. COOKIE

Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by users send to their terminals, where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites on the next visit. Each cookie contains different types of data, for example, it may be the name of the server from which the connection to the Website originates, an identification number or information relating to the operating system you use. Cookies are stored on the browser used by the user to browse the website for the duration of the session and are not persistently stored on the user’s PC. 4. WHERE DO WE TRANSFER YOUR DATA?

The server farm where the website is located is located in Europe. Your data are not transferred to third-party companies located outside the European Economic Area, if such transfer should become necessary, we will make sure that the recipients of your data have adopted appropriate security measures to ensure their protection.

5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

We process your data for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes indicated in paragraph 2 above. In particular, the access data to the so-called reserved areas will be permanently deleted after a few weeks from sending your request. Upon expiry, the Data will be deleted or anonymized, unless there are other purposes for the conservation of the same. The data (IP address) used for site security purposes (blocking attempts to damage the site) are kept for 7 days. Finally, we reserve the right to keep the so-called data. to log-in and log-out for a longer period, in order to be able to manage any crimes committed against the Website (e.g. hacking activities).

6.WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS AS AN INTERESTED PARTY OF THE PROCESSING?

You, as a data subject, have the right to: access your data and request a copy of the same; request the correction or updating of your data, if inaccurate or incomplete; request, in the event of certain circumstances, the cancellation of the Data referring to you or the limitation of the processing concerning your personal data; request data portability. Finally, you can object to the processing at any time, or propose a complaint to the Guarantor for the protection of personal data or to the Data Controller and the Data Protection Officer appointed by Trackysat (“DPO”).
